9 Most Beautiful Hotels in Nice, France with a Pool

Looking for the best hotels in Nice with a pool? I’ve got some great options for you on this list!

Nice is one of my absolute favorite cities to visit in France – it’s right on the Mediterranean Sea, there are miles of pretty beaches, palm trees sway, the Old Town is painted in a variety of warm, golden hues, and there’s so much to see and do.

If you’re visiting during the summer months, it’s going to be nice and warm, and sometimes quite hot! And while swimming in the ocean is nice, sometimes you just want to relax by a nice pool.

Two important notes before we dive in (pun definitely intended):

✔️First, if you are visiting in the off-season, a lot of these pools may be closed for the season.

✔️Second, most of the pools at these hotels aren’t huge. As most hotels in the city are located in historic buildings, these buildings often have limited space. While the pools are still nice sized, just be aware that massive swimming pools in hotels in France just aren’t the norm!

The Hotel Amour Nice is cozy, moody, and stylish – like you could just settle in for a long, quiet afternoon. Décor is trendy and top notch, and there’s also a bar and restaurant on site that are fantastic.

The rooftop pool is not huge, but it’s very, very nice, and the views from the rooftop over the city are perfection.

This is also a great hotel if you want to be close to the main tourist sites and the Old Town in Nice, but not RIGHT in the center of the tourist areas. The Hotel Amour is a 15 minute walk to Old Town and is situated in a lovely, more residential neighborhood of Nice. It’s only a 7 minute walk to the beach from the hotel.

Most Incredible Luxury Villa with a Pool in Nice:
Riviera Dreams of Life Villa

Rating: 9.2 of 10 stars | Read all reviews here

The Riviera Dreams of Life Villa is an absolutely stunning, charming villa on Mont Baron, an upscale area just outside of Nice, where you can get away from the crowds and live out the French Riviera holiday of your dreams.

The bed and breakfast offers a gorgeous indoor pool and spa, with high ceilings, arches and columns, and massive arched windows that open to the garden. (For some reason, the owners of this property did not include any pictures of the pool in the listing. This is going to sound weird, but if you go into the reviews, there’s a picture from Oct 1, 2022 that has a great picture of this drool-worthy pool)

Additionally, the villa has incredible ocean views, a lovely garden, and beautiful terrace, where you can wake up and eat your breakfast. There is also access to a secluded Mediterranean beach from the villa.

It’s about a 30 minute walk or an 8 minute drive from the villa to the Old Port in Nice.

The pool in the Westminster is part of the hotel spa, and includes a good-sized heated, indoor pool that guests can use. Note that you must have a reservation to use the spa (definitely book early!), and it is an extra cost. However, this does help the spa area stay uncrowded, calm, and peaceful.

Most Charming Hotel with a Garden Courtyard:
Hotel Le Petit Palais:

Rating: 8.9 of 10 stars | Read all reviews here

Hotel Le Petit Palais definitely gives off elegant villa vibes, with the traditionally and individually decorated rooms and the exterior architecture of the building. You’ll enjoy views over the city and towards the sea, and a quiet area.

The beautiful garden with pool is fragrant, charming, and picturesque. It’s important to note that the pool at this hotel is on the smaller side – it’s basically a plunge pool. However, combined with the garden area it makes for a really calming retreat.

This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from Old Town, in the more residential neighborhood of Cimiez. This is a great option if you want to be close to the tourist areas, but not RIGHT in them.
